Today’s post is definitely an exciting one because I am going to be telling you about a skincare product that I have been obsessing over! Fun fact, my skin gets extremely dry when the colder weather arrives, so I’m constantly on the lookout for products that will help moisturize my skin and get rid of any flaking (yuck!).
Hautelook, one of the best websites ever invented, recently had Mario Badescu on sale. I knew I had to buy some products because Mario Badescu is one of my favorite skin care brands. This brand works so well for my skin because from what I’ve tried so far, their products use great ingredients that make my skin feel clean and fresh. Luckily, I am happy to say that the Strawberry Face Scrub is no different!
Let’s talk about obvious first: how this scrub looks. It has real strawberry seeds in it, so it looks just like a strawberry smoothie (yum!). The consistency is extremely creamy, so you don’t need a lot of product when using it. According to the website, this scrub is “made with real Strawberry seeds that gently buff away flaky skin while natural AHA’s break down dulling build-up to unclog pores and prevent blackheads. It improves skin’s overall texture by revealing healthy, glowing skin”. I am happy to say that after using this product for about 2 weeks, I completely agree with this claim!
I use this scrub about 3 times a week. I first wet my face with warm water and then I scoop about a teaspoon of the scrub onto my fingers. I apply it all over my face and gently exfoliate my skin for about 2 minutes. While using it, you can really feel the strawberry seeds working their magic.
What has it done for my skin? I suffer from flaking on and around my nose, which is really tough to get rid of, especially in the winter. Just after using this product once, my nose was no longer flaky! The creaminess of this scrub really moisturized my whole face and the strawberry seeds got rid of all of my dead skin cells, without being too harsh.
