Hello, everyone! Can you believe that I have never purchased any Colourpop products? It’s been all the rage on YouTube over the past year, but I just never got around to trying anything out. About a week ago, I finally ordered a few things that stood out to me! I actually tried all 3 products already, so this post will also be a mini review.
Lippie Stix: I had to add this to my cart because it is one of the most popular colors from Colourpop, Lumière! This Lippie Stix was actually made in collaboration with KathleenLights a while ago, but it is still available on their website. The color of this lipstick is absolutely gorgeous. The texture of it is rather thick; you can definitely feel it on your lips. Also, I’m not sure if my lips were particularly dry when I wore this, but I did notice that this lipstick did clump up around the inner portions of my lip throughout the day.
Ultra Matte Lip: I haven’t heard anyone talk about this specific shade in Limbo, but it just screamed Fall to me! This liquid lipstick is the perfect true brown shade. It dries to a matte finish and lasts a very long time. I ate with this product and did not notice much fading. Also, even though it is a matte liquid lipstick, it did not feel drying on the lips at all.
Super Shock: It kills me that this photo wasn’t taken before I actually used it, but I just couldn’t wait to feel the texture and test out the color. This eyeshadow in Central Perl is a gorgeous burgundy, brown shade. Perfect for Fall? Yes! If you have never tried a Super Shock eyeshadow, then you won’t know about the insane texture on this product. It is bouncy and feels like a cream. However, when you apply it to the skin, it is a powder! How weird?!
In this photo, I am wearing the Ultra Matte Lip in Limbo and the Super Shock Eyeshadow in Central Perk on the outer v of my eyes!
So that is it for my first ever Colourpop haul. So far, I am very pleased with the quality of these products. I can definitely see myself purchasing some more products in the future!
